Which Subscription is right for me?

First of all, Mahalo!

Let us begin by saying, mahalo! You may be new to the Hawai‘i Symphony Orchestra, new to Hawai‘i, or a long-time HSO patron looking for more information to guide your decision-making process, regardless, we hope to make your entire experience as rich and enjoyable as possible. Take a peek at the options that we have for the 2018-2019 Season.

Taste, Frequency, and Budget

Do you prefer Pops over Masterworks? Are you looking for all keiki-friendly programming? You adore Brahms and Beethoven, but could do without the Glass. You want it all and couldn’t stand to miss one concert. Well, these are a few of the questions that you should ask yourself before considering a subscription.

Saturday or Sunday 12

This is the most comprehensive of the Halekulani Masterworks Subscriptions offered. You will receive tickets for every classical concert that the Hawai‘i Symphony Orchestra performs on Saturday or Sunday, as well as our annual Ode to Joy (Beethoven 9) concert, which falls in the new year this time around. You also receive access to Concert Conversations, a short, interactive lecture hosted by the Concertmaster that engages the guest artist and conductor for each program.

Perks

  • You have the same seat all the time.
  • Varied start time. Saturday at 7:30 pm or at 4 pm.
  • Invitation to our exclusive Saturday at the Symphony! An exciting before-the-concert experience at local restaurants and on-site at the Blaisdell.
  • Save 25% off the face value ticket price.
  • Save an additional 20% on any additional tickets purchased.
  • First right to renew your seats for next season.
  • First to receive information about new programs.
  • Free ticket exchanges*

Choose 6

You are in front of the buffet line and simply take what you like and leave the rest. This is an extremely flexible package. In fact, it’s called a flex package! You can choose any 6 concerts at a single price level and head right out the door. Perhaps you’re only available some Saturdays and one Sunday – you can make this package fit your needs. This flex package does come with some restrictions — it’s NOT a renewable series and you generally aren’t going to have the same seats for every concert, however you do save 15% off the face value of tickets. Choose 6 is the last subscription available for our Halekulani Masterworks series. Additional discounts on single ticket purchases are not available and you may be assessed some fees to make last minute changes.

Single Tickets

This option has less up-front cost and may honestly be the best option for those of you with busy schedules who aren’t sure what they can commit to in advance. Students are eligible to purchase any seat in the house for most concerts for $15 on the Monday before the concert day. All student tickets must be purchased with a valid student ID. We also offer $20 tickets to our active military service members with a valid military ID. These seats are also available the Monday before the concert. We also work with VetTix, to provide Military Veterans access to free performances by the HSO. If you, or someone you know could benefit from this service, please visit VetTix.com

We want to hear from you!

We want you to get the most out of your HSO experience! If you have questions about anything at all, give us a call or stop by the Box Office. Our offices are open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday thru Friday. Our address is 3610 Waialae Avenue in Kaimuki. Call 94-MUSIC during office hours and we’ll see YOU at the Symphony.

*In order to meet your needs, we will continue to offer complimentary ticket exchanges, however a maximum of 2 “concert for concert exchanges” will be granted per subscription.
