James Feddeck, ConductorJames Feddeck

“A tremendous find….Musicians of this calibre are like gold dust” (The Herald), James Feddeck is rapidly becoming one of the most interesting and remarkable conductors of today, impressing orchestras with his innate talent and outstanding musicianship on both sides of the Atlantic. Of his recent debut with the Hallé, The Guardian noted that he stepped in “to salvage the concert with style and steel” and is “a conductor to watch”.

Over the last two seasons Feddeck has made a number of significant North American and European debuts, including with the Los Angeles Chamber and NAC Orchestras and the Atlanta, Houston, Vancouver, Milwaukee and BBC Symphony Orchestras, the Deutsche Oper Berlin in a collaboration with Bejart Ballet, and the Tampere and Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestras.

Upcoming highlights include debuts with the San Francisco Symphony, Minnesota, and Toronto Symphony orchestras, Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne, the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Flanders and the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin. As well as conducting The Cleveland Orchestra at the Blossom Festival and subscription concerts with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra after a MusicNOW concert with them last year, Feddeck will also return to the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Residentie Orkest and the Hallé following his acclaimed recent debuts with them.
