A Rich History

The HSO has a long, rich history of educating Hawaii’s youth. Since the mid-1900s, the orchestra has performed in free educational concerts in McKinley Auditorium and the Blaisdell Concert Hall, where thousands of students experienced a live symphony orchestra for the first time.

Thanks to the funding provided by the City & County of Honolulu, there will be a total of three (free) community concerts across O‘ahu this season. Please check-in soon for specific dates and announcements.
