2020/2021 Halekulani Masterworks

We invite you to experience the rich tapestry of our new season, brimming with sonic delights that will color your world with music! We are also very excited to announce that our 2020-2021 Halekulani Masterworks season will be split between our home at the Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall and the Hawaii Theatre Center.

This season features many of your favorite pieces – from Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue to Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 to Beethoven’s inspiring Ode to Joy and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4. Your HSO offers you the opportunity to “escape from the everyday,” and into a magical world of Mozart, Rachmaninoff, Ravel, Dvořák, Strauss and many other composers, brilliantly brought to colorful life by our great musicians.

There are some surprises too, for instance, a brilliant new world premiere composed by University of Hawaii, Manoa’s own Takuma Itoh, and our incredibly beloved Concertmaster Ignance Jang and our Principal Horn Anna Lenhart will lead your HSO on a Classical Christmas journey!

Our home of Hawai’i holds so much beauty and color, and your HSO is a magical part of life here, bringing people together, building community, introducing young people to music, and celebrating the world. We look forward to seeing you at the symphony!
