Supporters of the Hawai‘i Symphony Orchestra have helped us inspire, educate, engage, and entertain more than 60,000 patrons of all ages this season. From our Halekulani Masterworks, musicthatPOPS and musicthatROCKS programs, to our educational outreach events, ohana and community concerts, and our performances with Ballet Hawaii and Hawaii Opera Theatre – our music builds community.

We inspired future musicians and patrons by interacting with keiki at instrument “petting zoos,” and by performing side-by-side with the talented musicians of the Hawaii Youth Symphony.

We educated thousands of keiki about Hawaii’s native bird species and the importance of conservation efforts with Symphony of the Hawaiian Birds, a joint partnership with University of Hawai‘i, the Bishop Museum, and your HSO.

We engaged other valued community partners, such as O’ahu Choral Society, UH at Mānoa, UH Foundation, Polynesian Voyaging Society, IONA Contemporary Dance Theatre, Kapiʻolani Community College and Hawai‘i Youth Opera Chorus to present the World Premiere of Raise Hawaiki by local composer Michael-Thomas Foumai.

And finally, we entertained with amazing performances of symphonic Masterworks, holiday and Broadway favorites, film music, and even rock & roll!

As we celebrate the end of our seventh season and embark on our eighth, and the profound musical experiences yet to come, please help us bring the music from the page to the eager ears of our growing audience by making a season-end gift now.

See you at the symphony!
